We have released the 2020-2021 Scitech Annual Report which reflects a year where Scitech has continued to deliver STEM …
Scitech is always busy bringing STEM engagement to Western Australians not only in the Science Centre, but also to every part of the state.

This year has been a little challenging amid COVID-19 disruptions but we are really pleased that we were still able to reach communities and people regardless of where they live with our fun and engaging STEM experiences.
In the past financial year, you might have been a member who has visited us with your family and been one of the 230,000 people we welcomed through our doors to the Science Centre. Or perhaps you were one of the 21,593 students who were on a school excursion and saw one of the nearly 5,000 puppet, planetarium and Science Theatre shows we did?
Our Statewide teams travelled nearly 70,000 km to see you in regional and remote communities, and in the process also visited 684 schools in both the metro and regional areas with our fun and inspiring STEM incursions.
We bet you didn’t know that we also had 11 exhibitions that we designed and created touring internationally? We were excited when our latest exhibition Astronaut returned from travelling around the world for the last seven years, including a stop at NASA’s Johnson’s Space Centre, to land back in Perth and open in October.
As you can see, Scitech delivers STEM engagement in so many ways, so take a look at the snapshot below of what we have achieved. It takes many talented people here at Scitech to bring you science you can feel, touch and experience and so we hope you have enjoyed your scientific journey in 2022 as much as we have had bringing it to you.
Thanks for being a Scitech Member!
