A professional learning program delivering bespoke approaches to teaching Digital Technologies.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, students face the challenge of developing an endless skillset required to thrive in their future careers before they even leave primary school. Teachers are continuously innovating how technology is used in the classroom to help students succeed, all while navigating shifting educational goals and the rapidly increasing demand for advanced technological skills.
To meet the growing need for young Australians to use technological expertise in the face of solving complex global challenges, Scitech has partnered with Woodside Energy to deliver the Integrated Digital Technologies program.
Offered to primary schools in the Pilbara region in 2025, 2026 and 2027, this year-long program enhances teachers’ capacity to understand and integrate technology into their everyday teaching practice.
Scitech’s Professional Learning Consultants deliver in-person coaching, resources, and exclusive school community events to participating schools. These supports aim to empower teachers with the confidence to use a range of digital tools in the classroom and improve students’ exposure to real-world applications of technology, all while fostering essential skills like collaboration and problem-solving.
By working alongside individual teachers and school leadership, this initiative is tailored to meet the unique needs of each participating school, helping educators bring the Digital Technologies curriculum to life in ways that support both teaching and student success.
