Let your little scientists’ curiosity go wild this Toddlerfest!
Can you follow the animal prints and guess who they belong to? Wave goodbye to Earth as we experience a little space in the planetarium. Join us on the main stage for Dino Tales and discover how dinosaurs used to live. Make your own spider from recycled materials and add it to the giant silver web and more!
Designed for children aged 0-5 years and their families, this event aims to encourage science discovery through problem solving, imagination and creativity.
Toddlerfest is FREE for under 4’s! Book online for guaranteed entry.
During Toddlerfest, we are offering discounted afternoon tickets between 1-4pm. This offer is only available online.

Step back in time to meet some of your favourite dinosaurs. What made them special? How do we know so much about them even though they lived so long ago? Roar and stomp your way to discovery in a Dino Tale.
This show goes for 25 minutes and is for children aged 0–7 year. Enjoy it at The Big Stage.
A Little Space - Planetarium show 🌌
Take off and move through space, passing satellites, the International Space Station, and asteroids along the way.
This immersive planetarium show has been created especially for toddlers.
What’s On – Activities
Follow the footprints
Follow the footprints and see where they might lead. See if you can guess which animals the prints belong to and learn some fun facts.
The Silver Web
Come for a crawl inside The Silver Web! Make your own spider from recycled materials and add it to the web. Learn about spiders and why they are an important part of nature.
A nursery rhyme in Noongar
Watch Djinda Djinda Kanangoor, a Noongar version of one of the much–loved children’s lullaby Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star on the big screen. The song was written and recorded by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse as part of CAN’s Lullabies – a music art and language program designed specifically for Aboriginal families to encourage language revival.
Crawl Space
The Grandstand area will be set up as a safe crawl space for our youngest visitors and an area of rest and respite for caregivers. The area will have soft mats, cushions and will have a lullaby playing on the big screen.
