Like us, leading scientists believe science is more engaging at your fingertips, rather than with your head buried in a book. That’s why we’re proud to feature a real-life science lab, on-site. It’s practical, not just theoretical, with hands-on experiences.
You’ll learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) in a stimulating environment. Program topics include microscopy, animation, forensics, robotics and chemistry, with structured programs for school groups, after-school groups, and holiday workshops.

Good to know
- Age ranges for lab events will be strictly enforced. Your booking will be cancelled if your child’s age differs from the advertised age range.
- Enclosed shoes must be worn to every lab event. This is particularly important for events involving the use of chemicals and tools.
- For safety reasons, parents and guardians of children under the age of 12 must remain within the City West complex for the duration of lab workshops.
- The admission for workshops does not include entry to Scitech.
- Parents are encouraged to attend workshops with their younger children, however unregistered siblings will not be permitted to participate in the workshop.
